Regional Leadership Team Meetings- The difference between living in the states and living in Hungary were immediately in stark comparison with the start of the new year. The first week back to work marked the annual Regional Leadership Team meetings here in Greenwood, where the Regional Leaders from the four regions come together for in-person meetings. These meetings started the year off quickly and intensely, while in Hungary usually the first few weeks back were slow as our partners rested after Christmas. The main goal of these meetings was for the regional leaders to identify what their main goals, or the “big rocks” God has given them to move this year. Personally, what made these meetings exciting was the opportunity to present the work I have done to the leaders who get to implement them and really help all the missionaries do their jobs better and without impediment. I have been working with training and continued education for missionaries, and using my experience in business as missions and Lausanne missions group to clear up and give greater clarity to what OMS does in business missions.
It really felt like in my time on the field God gave me the experiences to help at this moment and the opportunity to speak into this and various other topics was incredibly humbling. |
