About Us

We are the Bucks; Daniel, Amanda & Arlo. We want to see missionaries, churches, and ultimately every individual deeply living into their unique calling to share the gospel. But we know that

physical distance,

cultural differences,

and communication issues

all get in the way of this happening.

So our goal is to bridge these gaps through providing practical support and guidance.

 

Our Story (the short version)

We moved to Budapest, Hungary shortly after getting married and served there with One Mission Society for almost five years together. Through the years we have worn many hats from English Camp Counselors, to leading Discipleship in Hungary, all the way to unwitting book publishing and pinch-hitting Spanish translation.

We are BOTH passionate about sharing what God is doing in our lives and through the lives of missionaries around the world to encourage people to faithfully live out their own calling, however that looks.

Shortly after the birth of our son, we moved back to the states and served at OMS Headquarters for almost 3 years. Daniel worked in the Global Ministries Department, supporting the work OMS is doing in over 80 countries around the globe however possible, while Amanda worked part-time as a Pre-Field Coach, assisting new missionaries in preparing to serve well wherever God called them.

What about now?

Now we are taking on new roles as joint Field Directors for the Hungary team, which means we are headed back to Budapest, Hungary. We will lead the ministry efforts there, and we are excited to join in on all the amazing things God is already doing in the nation of Hungary.
