About Us

We are the Bucks; Daniel, Amanda & Arlo. We want to see missionaries, churches, and ultimately every individual deeply living into their unique calling to share the gospel. But we know that

physical distance,

cultural differences,

and communication issues

all get in the way of this happening.

So our goal is to bridge these gaps through providing practical support and guidance.

 

Our Story (the short version)

We moved to Budapest, Hungary shortly after getting married and served there with One Mission Society for almost five years together. Through the years we have worn many hats from English Camp Counselors, to leading Discipleship in Hungary, all the way to unwitting book publishing and pinch-hitting Spanish translation.

We are BOTH passionate about sharing what God is doing in our lives and through the lives of missionaries around the world to encourage people to faithfully live out their own calling, however that looks.

What about now?

Since transitioning back to the United States, Daniel works in the Global Ministries Department at One Mission Society Headquarters (OMS) in Greenwood Indiana. Essentially, he helps oversee everything that is happening on all of the OMS fields across the world. He is passionate about making sure missionaries have all of the information and materials they need to easily do whatever their job is so that nothing gets in the way of the gospel being shared.

Amanda also works part-time at OMS headquarters in the Mobilization Department. She helps connect and shepherd prospects who are interested in serving with OMS around the world.
